Sharon Yvonne Stone born 10th March 1958 to Dorothy Lawson, a accountant and Joseph William Stone 2nd, a former tool and die maker as well as a factory worker. Stone has three brothers: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone has a talent when she was a young child, began her second-grade education at age five. She graduated from Saegertown High School in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. She was also a contestant for Saegertown's Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, winning Miss Crawford County. Stone relocated from Pennsylvania to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt in order to pursue a career as models. In just a few months, she signed up with Ford Modeling Agency. Her next move was to Europe where she spent one year residing in Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone was, however, dissatisfied with the acting and modeling in Europe. She chose to continue her career acting as a model while she was in Europe. Woody Allen's movie, "Stardust Memories", was a mixed success at the age of 20.
