Aura Garrido is an Spanish actress that works on TV and film. She's appeared on TV and in movies like Stockholm. Garrido began her career in Madrid, in 1989. Tomas Garrido, her father is a conductor of orchestras and composer. Her mother, Pilar Sanchez paints. At the age of four she started taking lessons in piano and soon after, she began ballet. The person she was most close to was an English speaking person, and she was taught English by her. Her high-school studies over her, she attended the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico located in Madrid. In the school, she learned the art of interpretation for three years specializing on textual translation. But she quit at the end of 2010 after she secured a role in Planes para manana. Her role in this film earned her the Silver Biznaga and nominations for Goya Awards, including the top actress of the year.
